Doing These Facial Exercises Will Give Maximum Change

Exercising is a healthy practice to keep our bodies looking firmer and more youthful. Regular exercise will slim and tone our figure.

Like all of the other muscles of the body, facial muscles require exercise as well. You can reap the same benefits as body exercise, but focus on the face instead. Doing so, will help reduce wrinkles and sagging skin. Facial exercises are also great to use as a preventative measure as well.

Let’s take a look at the simple facial exercises that will give you the most noticeable change:

Smooth Forehead Lines

A simple method to smooth and prevent forehead lines is to use resistance from your fingertips.

To perform this exercise, place your index fingers above your eyebrows. Press your fingers in a downward motion and resist trying to raise your eyebrows. Hold this movement for ten seconds.

Repeat this movement ten times every day and you will see that your forehead lines will start to decrease.

Eyelid Lift

If you are looking to lift your eyelids and prevent further sagging, this simple facial exercise is for you. It is similar to the exercise above, but the fingers are placed on the eyebrows as opposed to above them.

First, you will close your eyes. Then, place your index fingers on your eyebrows and firmly press. Raise your eyebrows up as far as you can, creating resistance with your fingertips. Hold this position for ten seconds.

Repeat this exercise ten times daily and your sagging eyelids will start to look firmer and smoother.

Combination Eyelid and Forehead Workout

You can work the muscles of two areas of the face with one easy exercise, which is recommended in this article.

This workout takes a bit of coordination and concentration, but with a little practice, you should be able to master it in no time.

To do this exercise, you will first raise your eyebrows. Next, you will close your eyes while your eyebrows are raised. Lower your eyebrows to complete one set of movements.

Repeat these movements ten times a day.

Jowl Exercise

One sure sign of aging, is the presence of jowls and sagging in the lower jar area. This easy exercise will firm up that area area making you look more youthful.

This exercise is done with your mouth closed. Keep your upper and lower teeth slightly separated. Bring your lower jaw forward and stretch your lower lip upward as far as you can without opening your mouth. Hold this position for five seconds.

Repeat this movement ten times per day.

Cheekbone Definer

If your cheeks are on the flatter side, you can help create the look of high cheekbones with this exercise, as reported here.

Take each index finger and place it on each cheekbone. While doing so, gently lift the skin in an upward motion, until it is taut. While holding that position, open your mouth into a long “o” shape and hold for five seconds.

Repeat this movement ten times every day.

Conclusion

It can be easy to incorporate the above exercises into your daily routine. If you lead a busy life, like most of us, simply do the exercises in the car on the way to and from work. You can also do them in the shower or before bedtime. Find a time that works best for your lifestyle and stick with it.

You may benefit from setting a reminder notification on your phone, so it never slips your mind. Before you know it, it will become a habit and you won’t even need the alert. Just stay consistent and you will see results and change in your skin.
